Welcome to the Magical World of Tiers am Rosengarten

Behind the sun-drenched town of Tiers (1028 m) with St. Zyprian (1073 m) and Weißlahnbad unfolds a landscape of rare beauty: the Dolomites.

Tiers is free from the noise of industries, traffic and mass tourism. The landscape is so beautiful that most of it is encompassed in the Schlern Natural Park.
In Tiers you can watch animals in their natural habitat: you can see chamois and golden eagles, edelweiss and rhododendrons. It is much easier to forget the problems of everyday life and find your balance in such a marvelous place like this.

Tiers is an excellent starting point for excursions, tours and hikes especially on the Rosengarten, Schlern and Dolomites. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, everyone can find an excursion or peak perfect for you.

You may not always be in the mood to explore the solitary mountains. The following activities can be interesting change offering fun and relax:

WALKING

Walking without ever stopping - in South Tyrol you can really do it during any season and at all altitudes.
Nature and adventure in a true heaven for ramblers! Tall peaks, iron steps, vineyards, natural parks, pastures and mountain trails for everyone are waiting to be discovered by mountain lovers!
Discover and experience the many faces of the mountains! South Tyrol and its thousand and one images. But enjoy also the nature and silence of these marvelous landscapes. You will restore your well-being.

GOLF

Clean air and sure fun for all those fond of this sport on Europe's highest golf course (9 holes) at Lake Karer: you can reach it either by bus or by car in just 20 minutes.

HORSE-RIDING

On your horses...and off you go. Days full of horse-rides or saddleback trekking across the woods and meadows stopping every now and then to make camp. If you are not good at horse-riding, you can take lessons at the stables at Lake Karer or in Völs.

FISHING

You can go fishing from 1 June to 30 September with a special one-day license you can request at the Tourism Association.
