Kurzras (2.011 m)
A paradise for sport and hiking freaks. Starting point of the Schlastaler Gletscherbahnen (Glacier mountain railway) and a modern year-round ski arena for all ski and snowboard enthusiasts. Logically, various national teams practise for a long time in the Schnalstal. The sport village is also a perfect starting point for high alpine tours and excursions.

Vernagt am See (1.700 m)
The village on the shore of the lake of the same name is a must for romantic souls:  the sunshiny location on the shore of the lake, wonderful promenades through the woods. Unparalleled, the round tour of the lake with it’s two rope bridges. 
Iceman-Fans/Ötzi-Fans, watch out: The way from Vernagt through the Tisental will lead you directly to Iceman’s / Ötzis place of discovery. 

Unser Frau (1.500 m)
The village Unser Frau is the perfect symbiosis of old and new, just as the range of attractions that will leave nothing to be desired: Those interested in culture can – after having  visited p.ex. the famous pilgrim church – learn everything about the Iceman’s / Ötzi’s life at the ArcheoParc Schnals; and all sport and hiking freaks get their money worth, too.

Karthaus (1.327 m)
The village Karthaus is like a short trip into the past: Emerged within the walls of the Kartäuser monastry, founded in 1326 and closed down in 1782. Very unique the cloister of the old monastry used as an exhibition center for local artists during the summer months.

Katharinaberg (1.245 m)
Katharinaberg offers a pure idyllic scenery with it’s beautiful farms in the midths of ample sunny meadows: the ideal location for a relaxed vacation. All around, the Meraner Höhenweg (famous hiking route) and other hiking trails in the nature park Texel group are calling out for wonderful hikes.
