Schenna – simply beautiful

Schenna is situation on 600 m on a sunny hill above Meran – in the middle of fruit plantations. The municipal area stretches across 4.800ha – from the city borders of Meran (300 m) to the summits of the Sarntal Alps - Hirzer (2.781 m) and Ifinger (2.581 m). this area is very popular for wonderful low mountain range and is among the sunniest and most varied/diversed hiking areas of South Tyrol.

Possibilities vary From simple promenades, comfortable excursions to alps and lodges, to high mountain hiking and summit tours – Schenna's hiking area offers something for everybody / for every taste. / suits every taste. Apart from the various hiking routes, there are seven different Nordic Walking tracks in South Tyrol's first nature Fitness Park.
