In the middle of the natural environment of the Tauferer Ahrntal, between streams and mills lay Mühlwald and Lappach. The valley is surrounded by mountains, seamed with meadows, with a mighty landscape and embossed by a rural culture. The people are deeply rooted with their homeland and thought to keep their tradition and to cultivate their ancient customs but openminded for new things and curious about the world. The valley is surrounded by the Zillertaler Alps by mountains over 3000 meters like Hochfeiler and Weißzint are ideal targets for climbers. If this is too high, you can choose to go to the mountain pasture to cottages like the Chemnitzer Hütte or the Edeltrauthütte. For relaxation you can take a haybath or the Kneip in Lappach!
