Tradition is kept high in Marling. From the musicband with its 150 years tradition with classical Tiroler dancegroup untill the "Marlinger Apfelkrone" (regular visitor at the anual Meraner Traubenfest with its own showcar with numerous apples and carnations), culture is alive here ... Schloss Lebenberg in the closeby Tscherms is build by the Lords of Marling around 1240. For the culture visitors is the Marlings church also opened; the alt Pfarrchurch still rings it old bell "Annamaria" (1847) every friday to honor that the famous composer Liszt composed "Ihr Glocken von Marling" for the new Pfarrchurch.
